A former U.S. Marine and FBI Special Agent has studied, practiced, and taught various forms of traditional Asian Healing Arts and Martial Arts for over thirty years.

Dr. Cyrus is nationally board certified by the National Commission for the Certification of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) in both Acupuncture and Asian Bodywork Therapy. He is also a certified Chinese Herbalist. He is an honors graduate of the Tri-State College of Traditional Chinese Acupuncture (TSCTCA), New York, NY where he earned a MS in Oriental Medicine (OM). He is the president emeritus of the American Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (AAAOM) and has been instrumental in helping to establish the profession and the practice of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (AOM) nationally and internationally. The AAAOM is the national professional organization for AOM. Dr. Cyrus serves a visiting faculty at two OM training institutions. He has appeared in several national publications including Biography and Oprah magazines as well as several television news segments about AOM.

Dr. Cyrus is the 7th successor and lineage holder of the traditional Korean Martial Art, Choson Kwon Bup. He holds mastership ranking in Taekwondo, Hapkido and Jiu Jitsu. He also studies and traches Yin Fu Ba Gua Zhang and Chen Tai Ji Chuan.

Dr. Cyrus specializes in the treatment of chronic and acute myofascial pain and dysfunction, sport injuries, musculo-skeletal pain. He also treats a variety of internal disorders. He is the founder of “Oriental Medicine – Physical Medicine (OM-PM)”. OM-PM is an integrative system of medicine combining the best of classical OM and Western Medicine (Physical and Orthopedic approaches) to arrive at a wholistic and integrated method of treatment.
